Helping craft a support space on Exeter’s Neonatal Unit

We at Van Man Removals understand how precious deliveries can be, and so have for a number of years been supporting the Royal Devon and Exeter Neonatal support group SNUG. We give a £5 donation to SNUG for each review we receive.

Most recently that took the form of buying lots of items from their wishlist to help create a new family hub space at the hospital. It will be a place for parents and siblings to relax and take part in activities like crafts or journalling if they wish.

“I'm so excited, this will really get the hub off the ground! I can't wait to start the weekly siblings crafts now!” said Kate from Snug, when she received our latest donations.

“While Covid restrictions are in place we will be making the siblings take away craft packs and then once they can come back on the unit they will be able to enjoy craft making there,” Kate explained.

We've had a sneak peek of some of the activities they have planned and they look really special. Offering different crafts for younger and older siblings, we are sure the activities will help take their minds off things and hopefully create some positive memories of the unit.
