Van Man Removals' wheels keep pages turning in Devon's libraries

This summer and autumn we have been delighted to work with Libraries Unlimited moving art installations between their libraries across Devon.

Libraries Unlimited is an independent staff and community owned charity that runs 54 libraries, and four mobile libraries, throughout Devon and Torbay.

As well as doing what libraries are already known for, they host an all-year-round programme of exhibitions, events and activities for all ages ranging from escape room adventures to virtual reality installations and film screenings.

Because Van Man Removals and Storage value the role local libraries play in our communities, we were happy to complete the final removal for them free of charge, as a thank you for all the help library staff have offered family members of Van Man staff over the years – particularly our children.

'Consistently reliable and helpful'

“Being able to rely on the timely delivery of our installations, kits and works of art is key - as well as knowing that our often-high tech and fragile equipment is in safe hands,” says Olivia Desborough from Libraries Unlimited.

“Van Man Removals and their driver, Matt, have been consistently reliable and helpful - as well as flexible - in accommodating our sometimes unusual and bespoke needs!”

“We’re grateful for the help they give our library teams at all stages of the journey,” she added.

For details of events running in libraries, visit the Libraries Unlimited website, and you can join the library service for free by completing the online form.

Libraries Unlimited gratefully receives funding from Arts Council England and Exeter City Council.
